We are very well known in the industry and have been in business in Naples for nearly 40 years. We have experienced substantial, long term growth and as a result, are building our first sales team beyond the owners.

The Closet Company is more than closets; we are a custom storage solution company. We design, sell, manufacture and install custom closets, garages, home offices, pantries, entertainment spaces and more. The products we use are the highest quality in the industry and our designs can range from simple and functional to show stopper spaces.

Designer/Salesperson Job Description:

Meet with customers in our office/showroom and in their homes to discuss their wants and needs. Measure, design, and close the sale. Responsible for creating custom closet designs based on the customer’s input. We use Mozaik software for our design and build. You will receive training on this software throughout your time with The Closet Company.

Responsibilities:

• Generate new business through existing trade relationships and proactive outreach. Use of our showroom for open hours; answering our phones. We do receive a high number of quality repeat customers who call in or stop by each week.
• Design custom cabinetry and closet systems using Mozaik software
• Conduct client consultations, field measurements, and project proposals.
• Collaborate with internal production and installation teams
• Attend trade shows and networking events to represent the company
• Maintain follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
• Meet monthly sales goals

Qualifications:

• Ability to interact in a professional manner with clients, and our in-house team.
• Use a computer efficiently to create drawings and cabinet designs. Experience with some cabinetry or CAD software.
• General knowledge of the design or construction of cabinetry.
• Math skills and ability to read a tape measure
• Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem solving skills, and self management skills.
• A demonstrated ability in the sales field.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Commission based starting at 10% with the option for hourly pay for weekly hours in the office or showroom.
