Our client is a real estate agency. They seek a temp to perm Closing Agent Associate to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Handle resale and estate transfers of ownership of cooperative apartments
• Support the subletting, leasing, and renewal of apartments
• Manage the financing and refinancing of cooperative apartments
• Assist with the replacement of stock certificates and proprietary leases
• Obtain certificates of termination of the first right of refusal for condo sales and leases
• Assess and process board application packages from initial submission to approval
• Communicate with board members, applicants, attorneys, and brokers
• Submit monthly reports to the Board on sale and lease activity in the buildings
• Collect and submit fees due during processing and closing

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Real estate industry background preferred
• Knowledge of high-end co-ops and condos
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
• Technically savvy
