Infant Assistant Teacher Primrose School of South Meridian Location: 3060 S. Eagle Rd., Meridian, ID

Primrose School of South Meridian is looking for a caring, dependable Infant Assistant Teacher to join our loving infant team. If you have a heart for babies and enjoy nurturing, comforting, and supporting little ones during their earliest milestones, this role may be perfect for you.

This position works with infants ages 6 weeks to 15 months and rotates between two infant classrooms, both with small group sizes and a low 1:4 teacher-to-child ratio.

Schedule: • Monday–Friday • 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM • No nights or weekends

What You’ll Do: • Assist in providing loving, responsive care to infants ages 6 weeks to 15 months • Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, naps, and play • Rotate between two infant classrooms while maintaining consistency and strong relationships with children • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment • Follow safe sleep, health, and licensing guidelines at all times • Communicate positively with lead teachers and families • Help create a warm, nurturing environment where infants feel safe and secure

What We’re Looking For: • Meets Idaho childcare licensing requirements • Infant or early childhood experience preferred, but not required • A calm, patient, and nurturing demeanor • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed • Dependable, team-oriented, and passionate about working with babies
