    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

    The purpose of this role is to grow Cloud Conformity's market share in US East region across our core target industries and target select accounts.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Account Executive role is:

    • Selling to mid-market & enterprise 
    • 90% new business, 10% growing accounts you bring on with a hand over period
    • Closing medium to large deals
    • Managing inbound & outbound sales activities
    • Hunter
    • Can manage a virtual team of technical people
    • 70% outbound, 30% inbound/referral
    • Ability to strategize with SDR's successfully to engage in territory

    TACTICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • End to end sales process management
    • Selling to prospects & clients via phone, Zoom video conference, social media, email, face to face meetings etc
    • This is a traveling role e.g. to regional traveled required
    • Research accounts, identify key stakeholders, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity & close new logo's
    • End to end CRM system management for your respective business (Hubspot CRM)
    • Build rapport and cultivate lasting business relationships with clients through consultative sales tactics, skillful negotiations, and objection handling techniques.
    • Drive relevant opportunities yourself & develop and work closely with your inside sales rep
    • Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with prospects and existing clients
    • Collaborate with other sales functions and cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Marketing & the Leadership team
    • Consistently achieve revenue quota & set KPI's
    • Proactively seek to expand your knowledge on Cloud Conformity's products and stay up to date with any changes in product & in the market
    • Exceptional qualification skills
    • Mentoring more junior staff and demonstrating leadership qualities

    REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

    • A disciplined, ambitious, driven, digital first, energetic, intelligent self-starter
    • A Demonstrable work ethic
    • Minimum 5 years of enterprise sales experience in a B2B IT environment
    • A track record of success at mid-market and enterprise customers in the West
    • Sold to CIO's, CTO's, VP Level in IT and IT, DevOps, Security, and Operations 
    • Security sales or cloud sales experience 
    • Startup hunger
