We are seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Cloud Engineer to join our DevOps practice supporting a federal modernization program in Crystal City, VA. You'll bring hands-on experience in either cloud or on-premise infrastructure and grow your expertise across both, working alongside a collaborative DevOps team on CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and platform support. You'll have a designated team home while routinely contributing to cross-team projects, training, and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines and automation across cloud (GitLab, AWS, EKS, Terraform, Docker) and on-prem (Jenkins, OpenShift, Ansible) environments

Participate in infrastructure provisioning and application deployment automation across both cloud and on-prem platforms

Troubleshoot, document, and continuously improve deployment, monitoring, and security automation

Collaborate across cloud and on-prem teams through peer programming, joint solutioning, and cross-team projects

Share learnings and best practices across the DevOps organization to reduce silos and accelerate team capability

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Active DOD Secret Clearance required

Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or related role

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline development and infrastructure automation

Proficiency in either cloud technologies (GitLab, AWS, EKS, Terraform, Docker) or on-prem technologies (Jenkins, OpenShift, Ansible) with willingness to cross-train in both

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes across complex infrastructure environments

Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to document clearly and collaborate effectively across DevOps and development teams

Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly in fast-moving environments
