    Cloud Imperium Games is looking for experienced License Administrators to join our growing team. As a member of the Corporate Technology team, License Administrators coordinate and manage a large pool of software licenses used in the development of Star Citizen with usage spanning across all teams and territories globally.

    License Administrators are responsible for tracking all software purchases, including monitoring and alerting for all upcoming expirations as well as identifying key requirements and issuers with software license compliance, contract terms, conditions, and pricing. 

    Founded in 2012, Cloud Imperium Games creates cutting-edge videogames that defy expectations. We're currently developing Star Citizen, a record-breaking multiplayer online space sim, and Squadron 42, a cinematic single-player adventure set in the same universe.     WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A LICENSE ADMINISTRATOR:

    • Strong knowledge of software licensing and its associated requirements
    • Being highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Experience using Microsoft Office (with emphasis on Excel)
    • Ability to identify problems and errors
    • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Must be able to work well under pressure
    • Must be able to develop and maintain working relationships with coworkers and management
    • Must be able to maintain a high level of productivity and quality of work performed
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - capable of effective communication and teamwork with other teams and individuals
    • Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Airtable, and Dropbox

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

    • Assist in all efforts relative to inputting, processing, monitoring, and maintaining all software licenses
    • Ensure that all of the necessary data has been collected and is accurate
    • Assist in establishing a process around these activities for future guidelines which will be published
    • Assist in ensuring compliance around set guidelines
    • Enter and maintain information in a database format to address budgeting, software license and hardware inventory, contracts, and cost. 
    • Assist in the development of reporting to address management
    • Audit existing software licenses to identify possible reductions in quantity and to identify where more licenses are needed to maintain compliance
    • Assist in creation of documentation for the new software licensing and hardware tracking guidelines and help create efficiencies and process improvements as needed
    • Create and maintain weekly and monthly reports to monitor ongoing licensing
    • Analyze purchase records and other entitlement information including contracts and EULAs, etc.
    • Identify any cost savings opportunity in software license/hardware procurement process
    • Proactively follow through the software license maintenance and renewals
    • Communicate through email, individual interview, and group meetings
