Job Description
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the evolution of our IT environment into a cloud-first, scalable, and secure architecture. This role is heavily centered on Microsoft Azure, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and modern identity and endpoint management. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of operations and engineering, applying best practices in cloud security, performance optimization, and platform scalability.
Job Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
- Build and maintain secure Azure Landing Zones using Policy and Blueprints.
- Administer core Azure services: Azure AD, VNets, NSGs, storage accounts, and backups.
- Monitor usage, optimize costs, and enforce governance policies.
Infrastructure-as-Code & Automation
- Implement IaC pipelines using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and updates using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Create reusable scripts and modules using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
Modern Endpoint Management
- Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune for MDM and MAM.
- Lead Windows Autopilot deployments for zero-touch device provisioning.
- Implement compliance policies, configuration profiles, and endpoint security (BitLocker, Defender).
Virtualization & Hybrid Infrastructure
- Support legacy virtualization environments using VMware and Hyper-V as needed.
- Migrate on-prem workloads to Azure and support hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute).
Security, Monitoring & Incident Response
- Apply zero-trust principles using Conditional Access, Azure AD, and RBAC.
- Implement proactive monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor and third-party tools (e.g., Splunk, Darktrace).
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation planning.
