    Job Title: Cloud Instructor
    Location: Fairfax, VA or Woodbridge, VA
    Reports To: Training Manager/Director of Education

    Job Summary:

    The Total Cyber Cloud Instructor will deliver comprehensive and practical training sessions on various cloud computing platforms, tailored to the needs of the audience. The instructor is expected to stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and trends, develop training materials, and provide hands-on lab experiences. The role requires excellent communication skills, a strong technical background in cloud computing, and the ability to engage and inspire students.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Training Delivery: Conduct instructor-led training sessions in person or virtually on cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
    • Course Development: Design and update curriculum and training materials to reflect the latest developments in cloud computing technologies.
    • Lab Exercises: Develop and manage hands-on lab environments that provide practical experience in cloud platforms.
    • Assessments: Create and administer assessments to measure learning outcomes and provide feedback to students.
    • Support: Offer guidance and support to students, addressing questions and helping them overcome challenges in their learning journey.
    • Certification Preparation: Help students prepare for cloud certification exams by providing tips, strategies, and review sessions.
    • Stay Updated: Continuously research and stay informed about new trends, tools, and best practices in cloud computing.
    • Feedback: Collect feedback from students to improve course content and teaching methods.
    • Collaboration: Work with other instructors and curriculum developers to maintain consistency in course offerings.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
    • Experience: * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. * Previous experience in a teaching or training role is preferred.
    • Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., CompTIA Cloud+, ISC2 CCSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
    • Skills: * In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts, tools, and best practices. * Strong instructional presentation and communication skills. * Ability to break down complex topics into understandable lessons. * Experience with training platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS). * Proficiency in creating and managing virtual lab environments. * Adaptability to different learning styles and student needs.

    Work Environment:

    • The role may involve travel if conducting in-person training sessions at different locations.
    • Remote work options are often available, particularly for virtual training sessions.
