Full Job Description
As a patient care coordinator (PCC) at CloudRx, you act as the advocate for a patient while they navigate the complicated process that is prescription drug treatment. You spend time supporting the needs of a patient as they receive health care. Other tasks include promptly answering questions from patients, providing documentation of any problems, and coordinating with pharmacists, technicians, and others involved with providing care to patients.
• Communicating with patients about their prescription status through emails, text and phone calls
• Managing patient accounts with contact information, insurance and financial information in a confidential manner
• Ensuring services comply with state and federal regulatory requirements
• Teamwork to coordinate with Doctors, Nurses and other health care personnel
• Strong verbal communication skills to communicate with patients and the health care team
• Time-management skills including multitasking/phone call cue management/high call volume management etc.
• People skills to connect emotionally with patients and health care personnel
