    Location: Austin, TX (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

    Pay: Up to $96/hr

    Job Type: Contract

    Program Requirement: Candidates must reside in Texas.

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architects to design, implement, and maintain robust cloud architectures that align with business and technical goals. The role involves working across cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative cloud solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and maintain cloud architecture aligned with organizational objectives.
    • Build scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure that follows industry best practices.
    • Assess existing systems and develop comprehensive migration strategies to cloud environments.
    • Implement and validate cloud migrations, ensuring data integrity and system functionality.
    • Monitor cloud performance, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
    • Guide teams on AI/ML solutions using Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS.
    • Develop technical artifacts like reference architectures, runbooks, and training materials.
    • Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and identify opportunities for innovation.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills and Experience

    • 10+ years in architecting enterprise application solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
    • 10+ years of experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
    • 8+ years designing cloud-native application architectures.
    • 8+ years working with service models such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
    • 8+ years implementing AI/ML/Deep Learning solutions using cloud platforms.

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Strong understanding of virtual networks, VPNs, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls.
    • Familiarity with cloud security frameworks, IAM, and compliance standards like GDPR and HIPAA.
    • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
    • Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, C#, and scripting for automation.
    • Knowledge of microservices, serverless architectures, and API management (RESTful, SOAP).
    • Ability to analyze and optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance.
    • Experience with cloud-based AI tools like Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, or Google Vertex AI.
    • Certification in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect).

    Soft Skills

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate strategies and solutions.
    • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

    Work Schedule

    • Onsite Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays in Austin, TX.
    • Remote Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
