We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect with strong presales expertise to support our growing cloud practice and drive strategic solution design across networking, security, compute, and storage. This highly visible role partners with sales, engineering, and practice leaders to assess customer needs, design tailored cloud and hybrid solutions, and articulate value to clients in both technical and business terms.

The ideal candidate is a consultative technical expert who thrives in a fast-paced MSP/TSP environment and can bridge the gap between business goals and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical lead in presales engagements , collaborating with account executives and clients to define cloud strategies and architect comprehensive solutions.
• Design solutions that integrate components from multiple practices including public/private cloud infrastructure, security frameworks, networking, and storage platforms.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions, requirements gathering, and cloud readiness assessments.
• Prepare and present technical proposals, diagrams, statements of work (SOW), and pricing in coordination with internal teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating complex requirements into practical cloud architectures and roadmaps.
• Ensure alignment with best practices from each technical discipline (e.g., NIST, CIS, Zero Trust, high availability, scalability, disaster recovery).
• Support handoff to implementation teams with detailed documentation and consultation as needed.
• Stay current with cloud technologies, vendor roadmaps, and emerging trends.
• Participate in go-to-market strategy planning and provide technical enablement to internal sales teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems engineering, or presales roles, preferably within an MSP/TSP or cloud service provider.
• Broad technical knowledge across multiple domains, including:
  • Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure is required, AWS is a plus
  • Networking: SD-WAN, firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, etc.), VPNs, routing/switching
  • Security: Identity & access management, compliance (SOC 2, HIPAA, CIS), Zero Trust
  • Compute/Storage: Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), backup/disaster recovery, SAN/NAS
• Strong experience leading client-facing technical discussions and delivering compelling presentations.
• Experience creating diagrams, SOWs, and proposals in collaboration with sales and engineering.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple opportunities and disciplines.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience; relevant certifications (Azure Architect, VMware, etc.) are strongly preferred.
