    The Job:

    You are a critical leader who serves at the intersection between product, sales, customer and business development teams, helping influence product strategy and leading go-to-market strategy. Key responsibilities will include: 

    • Performing market, customer and competitive research (primary or secondary) to segment the market and produce buyer insights, identifying what opportunities, challenges, and dynamics exist for the organization and its products
    • Contributing to competitive intelligence by keeping the entire organization abreast of changes in the competitive landscape and helping us position CloudFactory to win more customers.
    • Conducting Win/Loss and customer feedback analysis that informs future product and GTM strategy
    • Guiding, creating and delivering differentiated messaging to communicate value to the market
    • Leading new product launch activities
    • Partnering with product and segment management to target and build relationships with key influencers including industry analysts. 
    • Helping field teams penetrate their customer and industry segments through the development of materials, tools, guides
    • Leading account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives

    Because we are scaling fast, you will need to be comfortable with change, will need to be able to derive insights and value from incomplete or imperfect data, and will need to be the kind of person who takes initiative rather than waiting for others to act.

    This is a great role for a strategically-minded marketing pro who likes to dig deep on topics like product positioning, sales effectiveness, go-to-market and content strategy. One of the key components of this role is superb communication skills. You will be connecting with many internal and external stakeholders, so you must be able to articulate your ideas clearly and ultimately drive team-wide adoption of the analysis and tools you generate. You will also need to build a good working relationship with these stakeholders, particularly our sales team, and bring everyone together towards a uniform goal. You are smart and can quickly build a working-level knowledge pertaining to the delivery and technical aspects of our offering. Finally, if you prefer to work in a strategic thinking capacity in an environment that is fast-paced with shifting priorities and workloads, you will be at home in this position.

    The Skills:

    Here are some of the skills that you will possess as a successful candidate for this role:

    • Education: Master's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Business Administration, or any other related field strongly preferred. An equivalent of this educational background in working experience is acceptable.
    • Experience: You have working experience with product positioning, packaging, GTM and demand generation strategies. Ideally, you will also have knowledge of the AI market. 
    • Analytical Skills: You will be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills, as well as your passion for product analysis, competitive analysis, and market dynamics. You will need to demonstrate a strong ability to synthesize market data and provide solutions even on short notice or constraint deadlines. 
    • Writing: You possess a creative ability to craft product messaging that resonates and connects with customers and internal stakeholders
    • Communication Skills: You possess excellent communication skills and an ability to present complex material in a way that relates to each audience. 
    • Leadership Skills: Your leadership skills will be vital to your success in this role. This includes an ability to influence peers and senior leadership towards a single unified direction. 
    • Interpersonal  Skills: There are certain interpersonal qualities that will be necessary for the successful candidate. Some of these interpersonal skills are; must be decisive, iterative and agile; must possess an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment; must be proactive and disciplined in following through with priorities and programs; must display calmness and composure in uncertain and strenuous situations. Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
