Primary Objective:
Clove is an intimate AVEDA Salon in the East Village! Clove's team has cared for our neighbors in the East Village for 15 years and we value the relationship and trust we've built over that time. We are looking for someone to complement our positive, friendly and professional salon atmosphere. We are looking for highly motivated individuals looking to be a part of a salon team that if focused on making the most out of their time! We encourage education in all forms.

Responsibilities:
Know and understand the Clove's vision, mission and values.
Execute all Guest Care protocols to Clove's Service Wheel standards
Execute all Hair Cutting/Styling/Coloring Skills and Techniques to Clove's standards
Maintain full and complete guest service, and formula records.
Participate in doing daily salon duties such as laundry, and general cleaning when needed: dry and fold towels, capes, gowns, etc. as part of the Clove's daily routines.
Checking guests in and out of the salon, processing service tickets as needed.
Taking calls and making appointments as needed.
Correspondence follow up as needed
Execute salon set up, opening and closing routines as defined.
Re-stocking home care and color inventory as needed.
Sanitation per state requirement.
Ability to work retail hours including weekends, holidays and special events as needed.
Ability to attend and satisfactorily complete all company education as required.
Perform other duties as assigned during down time.
Minimum Requirements:
Current New York State Cosmetology license
Motivated & Enthusiastic
Strong personal organization and time management skills, punctual
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to work retail hours including weekends, holidays and special events as needed
Ability to attend and satisfactorily complete all company education as required
Perform high-touch services that is unique to the AVEDA experience, ex hand massages, neck and shoulder massage with hair services.
Able to work Sunday Monday or Tuesday
Job Type: Part time
Salary: $30,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year $16/hr
