Job Description

Clow's Metal Casting Facility has an opening for a Core Machine Operator.

2nd Shift Position

STARTING WAGE: $24.60; QUALIFIED WAGE: $24.90- 2nd Shift differential $0.90

HEALTH INSURANCE AVAILABLE AFTER 60 DAYS

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Stocking up pallets.
•Clean core parting line; repair voids; dip cores or paint with core wash.
•Palletize core by hand or with lifting device.
•Advance full pallet onto one of three conveyor lines.
•Other duties as assigned.
•General cleanup of work areas.

Qualifications

_ Requirements of this position include:_
•Frequent lifting/carrying of up to 10 lbs, some lifting of up to 50 lbs.
•Overhead or above shoulder reaching required.
•Bending/ twisting/ and standing for greater than 8 hours.
•Ability to read and write and understand training and instruction.
•Ability to work in extreme heat.
•Must be able to utilize and work around moving machinery.
•Must be able to utilize proper PPE including: respirator, metatarsal guarded boots, eye protection, hearing protection, apron, gloves and sleeves.
