    Job Description

    Summer Purchasing Intern

    Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

    Rate of Pay $19.00

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Scan Documents : Digitally scan purchasing reports and related documents into the company’s electronic system, ensuring clear, high-quality images.

    • Organize Files : Sort and categorize physical documents for scanning. Label and organize scanned files in the electronic system according to predefined naming conventions and folder structures.

    • File Quality Check : Review scanned documents for completeness and legibility. Re-scan or flag any problematic files to ensure accuracy.

    • Maintain Efficiency : Complete scanning tasks within assigned timeframes, ensuring a steady workflow and meeting daily or weekly scanning goals.

    • Basic Equipment Operation : Use scanning equipment and troubleshoot minor issues; escalate technical problems as needed.

    • Confidentiality & Compliance: Follow company guidelines for handling sensitive or confidential documents during the scanning and organization process.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualifications include but are not limited to:

    • Light lifting/carrying 0-10 pounds
    • Use of fingers required
    • Maximum sitting required (8 hours/day)
    • High School diploma or equivalent
