Overview of Position:

We are looking for a Accounting Manager to lead our Client Accounting Services division. As the lead of this division, you will build world class processes that streamline both the internal accounting and operations for our client portfolio. You should also have strong analytical skills to review industry financial benchmarking data to present trends and variances to on client webinars.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Serve as Subject Matter Expert to Account Managers to assist in monthly and EOY financial statement creation

Lead the Account Management Team

Manage a smaller portfolio of High Priority clients providing monthly financial statements and variance analysis presentations

Manage the bookkeeping team assigned to your client portfolio

Provide guidance to our onboarding, account management, and bookkeeping teams to represent industry best practices based upon accounting principles

Design and implement world class processes for client accounting and advisory services

Investigate complex accounting issues to develop methodology upon accounting principles

Manage customer deadlines and expectations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Delight customers with expert guidance and support

Design and implement world class processes for client accounting and advisory services

Maintain Accounting division budget and uncover growth opportunities, cost efficiencies, or ways to further scale the department

Requirements / Qualifications:

B.S. or M.S. in Accounting or equivalent

3+ years of public accounting experience preferred but not required

3+ years of private industry experience preferred but not required

CPA preferred but not required

Excellent written communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

Well organized and strong attention to detail

Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships

Strong leadership and personnel management skills
