The Controller will play a critical role in helping the senior leadership team in its strategic decision making and operations by preparing monthly reports and consolidated financial reporting, budgets, forecasting and finding ways to improve performance, create efficiencies and reduce costs to maximize working capital.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting and financial reporting of the organization, including monthly close and monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting

• Analyze overall business results and profitability with goal of continuous improvement

• Prepare budgets and forecasts, analyze budget to actual variances, with narrative explaining variances

• Develop and implement internal controls where necessary

• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures

• Develop financial strategies to grow the business and provide financial insight and results to assist executive management in strategic decisions

• Manage and review banking relationships, arrange new sources of finance and debt facilities as required

• Ad hoc reporting and projects as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA strongly preferred

• At least 5-7 years of accounting experience

• Solid knowledge of GAAP( Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations

• Proficient in the use of Google Suite along with advanced Excel skills.

• Strong financial acumen with ability to interpret financial data and draw conclusions

• An analytical, problem solver with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask, handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.

• Effective communications skills, comfortable presenting to senior leadership and interpreting financial data to draw conclusions

• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Enthusiastic, positive professional attitude with integrity and reliability

• International experience (multi-currency, multi-lingual)

• Experience with billing MRR subscriptions in a SAAS environment

• Experience with Credit Card Payment Processing in a Payment Facilitator (Payfac) model
