Pool Concierges ($10.00/hr)This part-time role will act as the main point of contact for our pool patrons. The concierges will be responsible for delivering pool side drinks, beer buckets, towels and related poolside amenities to members, upon demand. The position is also responsible for:
maintaining the pool bathrooms before, during, and at the end of all shifts;
picking up trash around the pool decks and party areas from set up through tear-down.
planned decoration packages,
assist with food and equipment set-up for purchased catering packages, and
provide additional trash cans as well as to remove waste as needed during parties.
The position will require availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as some week-day availability for any scheduled pool parties with decoration/catering packages. Summar Camp Counselors/Kid Care Associates ($9.00/hr to $10.00/hr)These seasonal positions are responsible for the supervision and care of children ages 6 through 12 from June through August (2023) with the aim of providing a healthy, safe, and enjoyable camp environment and experience and will have the following responsibilities:
Assist in planning and overseeing all camper activities
Guide and teach a range of physical activities (swimming, group exercise, etc.)
Ensure camper safety and monitor their activities
Set up and ensure recreation equipment is secure and stored properly
Supervise campers during meals
Instruct campers in daily routines and cleanup tasks
Follow safety and emergency procedures and guidelines
Work one-on-one with campers
Instruct and organize camper projects (arts and crafts, dramatics, etc.)
May perform administrative tasks, as needed
HEAD Camp Counselor ($12.00/hr)This seasonal position will collaborate with CLUB leadership to manage and oversee all Summer Camp activities, personnel, and campers. S/he will coordinate with all Tennis, Aquatics, Fitness, and other activity leaders and will provide support with events and marketing matters relating to the Summer Camp. The Head Camp Counselor will be required to begin working two (2) weeks in advance of welcoming campers through the camp season and should have previous teaching, daycare/nursery, or summer camp leadership experience.
Lifeguards ($10.00/hr )
Lifeguards ensure the safety of swimmers and water sports participants at our TCP and Lake Harbour outdoor pools by assessing situations swiftly and making judicious decisions regarding the safety of swimmers. Top candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills, swift action, and will be at all times safety-minded.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing activities at an aquatic facility.
Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to ensure the safety of patrons.
Monitoring designated areas to recognize signs of danger.
Warning swimmers regarding unsafe situations.
Maintaining order in swimming areas.
Responding to emergencies and rescuing swimmers in danger of drowning.
Performing first aid procedures.
Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of all areas.
Requirements:
Must be 16 years of age or older
Completion of lifeguard training is required
First Aid and CPR certification is also required, with AED certification, a plus
No studying or use of cell phones allowed during scheduled shifts! Full attention needs to be given to the job at hand while working at all times, without exception.
