    The wex internship/co-op program offers a robust experience for ambitious and curious students and recent graduates, who are interested in growing professionally and developing their skills to become the next generation of technology leaders.

    Our program is designed to provide hands-on, practical experiences while working alongside some of our industry's smartest teams; as well as providing immediate value to their teams and our leaders. As a valued resource, you will be challenged and offered the opportunity to make an impact across the business and be involved in some of the company's most critical business decisions.

    What you will be doing in this role:

    • as part of our defined agile framework you will provide day-to-day support to project manager(s) following the wex project management guide book and the software development life cycle (sdlc) methodology policy
    • you will have the opportunity to identify, support and implement continuous improvement opportunities as we mature and evolve our agile based practices.

    You will:

    • develop and maintain project artifacts
    • capture, report and monitor project performance measures
    • monitor project risks while developing and supporting risk mitigation strategies and actions
    • develop project status reports and presentations for senior management
    • follow up on and drive resolution to project issues and corrective actions
    • support preparation and facilitation of project meetings including capture of meeting minutes for distribution and action

  • Qualifications

    Who we are looking for:

    • at a minimum, you should be a rising junior, senior, masters-level student or recent graduate, in a degree/certificate-seeking accredited program in a business, operations or project management curriculum
    • strong project management skills, including planning and execution
    • strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information
    • strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
    • strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
    • ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment
    • completed at least two courses in basic project management principles
    • completed at least two information systems courses
    • proficient in the use of google tools and microsoft office suite
