Job Description
The Junior recruiter/sourcer is primarily responsible for assisting recruiters in identifying talent for high volume or hard-to-fill roles as assigned. This role will creatively source for talent utilizing a variety of tools, including but not limited to social media, job boards, resume databases, applicant tracking system, CRM, and more. This role is a key partner to the Talent Acquisition team, helping to increase applicant flow for aged requisitions and high volume roles. A successful Sourcing Specialist will set benchmarks, forecast, track against metrics, and prioritize to customer SLA’s. Will thrive in a fast- paced environment and draw on extensive knowledge on functional areas of the business.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Your sourcing/recruiting experience has been in-house with a high growth tech company or startup.
· Creatively research, source and profile candidate resumes based on role requirements.
· Collaborate with Recruiting and HR colleagues to identify talent requirements for assigned requests.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with recruiting team through talent sharing and candidate lead
· You have enough technical know-how to carry a conversation about the latest technologies and can quickly discern when a candidate is a fit for a role.
· Source passive talent by utilizing available sourcing tools, including but not limited to job boards, ATS, niche platforms (like Dice, Stack Overflow) social media, resume databases, and more.
· Identify and network with candidates and active job seekers through creative recruiting strategies including the use of job boards, social networking, resume databases, alumni networks, and other creative approaches to sourcing.
· Maintain consistent profile reviews for assigned requisitions in ATS (SmartRecruiters) and present candidates to recruiter for appropriate roles.
· Develop, build and maintain a working knowledge of the market, including key competitors, and talent supply and demand.
· Conduct market analysis and industry research to frame sourcing strategies.
· Identify and build relationships with talent network partners and professional associations to increase sources of candidates.
· Conduct introductory outreach with prospective candidates to socialize opportunities when appropriate and gauge profile fit for assigned requests.
· Ensure all tracking tools are updated in real-time with a focus on SLAs and key metrics.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
· Minimum 1 year of work experience with Technical sourcing or recruiting experience
· Minimum 1 year of experience with internet research
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
· Previous sourcing experience with focus on passive and active candidate generation preferred
· Experience with utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, specifically deep internet research
· Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· Must be highly organized with strong sense of personal accountability
· Must have a strong attention to detail couple with excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong analytic skills coupled with the ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and recruitment team
