CoServe, an Engineering talent solutions leader, is working with our client to identify and hire a PROJECT MANAGER to optimize and improve supply chain and sourcing practices. The Project manager will work with Sourcing and Operations teams locally and globally to drive a program of projects to reduce costs, de-risk supply chain, and ensure steady on-time delivery of product.
Duties will include:
- presentation of results on an ongoing cadence to local and corporate management teams
- coordination of supplied services by consultants and other vendors
- coordination of activities with local Sourcing team
The Project Manager will:
- seek to understand the end-to-end technical requirements of the production as well as end use
- show emotional intelligence in managing change among departments
- think about the long-term sustainability of what is implemented with considerations for business hygiene (i.e. a plan to update drawings in the system of record)
- think through an exit strategy to hand off the finished project to the base business
The 3 immediate performance objectives for this role include:

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Education Requirements
- BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- MBA is a plus
- PMP preferred (or qualified to sit for certification)
Technical Requirements
- PE license is a plus
- Proficient in Excel – advanced formulas
- Strong familiarity with MS Projects
- Competent in Autocad for drafting
Experience Requirements
- 7 – 10 years of overall experience in industrial or manufacturing
- 3 - 5 years of project management in a manufacturing setting
Mobility & Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel as needed
Language Capabilities
- English required
- Ability to speak Spanish highly desired
