Are you a trained athlete looking to give back to youth in your community? The Ocean Community YMCA now has an openings for coaches to run our Race4Chase program. Race4Chase is a triathlon training program for kids taking place in June-August 2025. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-12pm with the triathlon taking place in August. Responsibilities include:

• Supervising children in the program
• Implementing program activities consistent with YMCA core values
• Participating in pre-planning meetings
• Participating in all planned activities including swimming and field trips
• Maintaining the highest safety standards at all times
• Communicating with parents and children effectively
• Assisting with evaluation of program and needs for next year's program

Qualifications include:

• Must be able to actively run, jump, and lift a minimum of 1/3 own body weigh
• Must be CPR/AED/First Aid/ Emergency O2 administration certified- YMCA can assist with this
