Coachman Luxury Transport is a recognized leader for chartered coach bus transportation in New York. We have a new and growing, large fleet of beautiful buses based in Farmingdale, NY. We travel as far north as Canada, as far south as Florida and as far west as Wisconsin. This is a key position, take a front row seat and integral role in driving the success of our team.

Our dispatching operations specialist responsibilities:

• Work together with our lead dispatcher

• Utilize our charter bus software system for all aspects of the role

• Understand the trip process- coordinate and manage schedules/ drivers/ buses

• Communicate with customers through phone and email

• Maintain up to date driver records for Department of Transportation compliance

• Develop great relationships with the drivers and assist new drivers on procedures

• Understand and dispatch following hours of service regulations, maintain electronic logs and other lawful documentation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience allowing transferable skills, dispatching experience highly desired

• Associate degree

• Well spoken and written English

• Demonstrates ability to learn operations software

• Lives close enough to Farmingdale, where they won’t mind the commute time
