Turning Point Action is a 501(c)(4) organization founded in 2019 by Charlie Kirk. The organization's mission is to embolden the conservative base through grassroots activism and provide voters with the necessary resources to elect true conservative leaders. Turning Point Action has emerged as the country's leading grassroots organization, giving individuals the opportunity and platform to run for office at the local level, providing voters with critical information surrounding their district's candidates and elections, allowing them unparalleled access to some of the most impactful figures in the movement. ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Coalition and Alliances Administrator has a critical leadership role within our organization, dedicated to cultivating strategic partnerships and alliances rooted in conservative grassroots principles. This position requires an experienced professional who can effectively assist the Legacy field team in building out coalitions while engaging with a diverse array of stakeholders to advance the conservative agenda. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on management to ensure cohesive alignment and impactful collaboration across various sectors and interests.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Coalition Buildout:
- Create, develop, and manage coalitions.
- Work directly with legacy managers and their representatives on overseeing coalition events nationwide.
- Conceptualize strategic initiatives that increase efficiency by bringing new ideas to the table with an emphasis on creative control. Integrate these strategies within the program.
- Understand and comprehend how each coalition operates, including its demographics, socio-economic factors, and effective messaging.
Alliance Management:
- Build and foster relationships with other local and national conservative organizations that further the interests of Turning Point Action's Coalitions program.
- Speak in front of alliance partners at events and deliver progress reports on the respective coalition.
- Support projects and efforts of other alliance groups to maintain a symbiotic relationship.
Internal Coordination:
- Work directly with other departments within the Turning Point Action apparatus (data, graphic design, administration, etc.)
- Assist the development team in working closely with prospective and current donors who have a stake in Turning Point Action.
Social Media Management:
- Assist in overseeing the Turning Point Action Coalition's Instagram and X accounts by posting stories, making posts, and sharing content that pertains to the organization.
- Collaborate and coordinate with the digital department on boosting social media posts.
- Organizing coalition event-related media from Legacy field representatives for future media use.
- Understand the nuances that make a high-quality post drive engagement. (Solid, well-written post copy, image/video quality, use of graphics/gifs/emojis.)
“WOW” SKILLS:
- Previous experience in political campaigns or advocacy organizations.
- Knowledge of voter contact strategies and "Chase the Vote" efforts.
- Familiarity with grassroots organizing techniques and best practices.
- Degree in political science, public administration, or a related field.
