POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing & Event Coordinator will create and maintain web-based, print and media marketing material for Coast Community Health Center (CCHC). The Mktg. & Event Coord. will promote CCHC programs, providers, and services by creating and maintaining content on the website, social media, e-newsletters, e-blog, as well as print and broadcast news. The Mktg. & Event Coord. will also provide support to CCHC outreach events through event promotion, planning and coordination.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Website Content Creation/Maintenance
Upload new pdf, jpeg, blog or other content as needed
Format page content
Collaborate with Medical Teams and Community Health Outreach Workers to program page content or widgets within page
Proactively seek design or feature updates within website
Ensure desktop, laptop, mobile device and browser compatibility
Blog, E-newsletter, Print and Broadcast Media Content
Create, or provide editorial feedback of, content for blog, e-newsletter, print and broadcast media content
Operate mail-chimp: maintain up to date list serves, upload content, create campaigns, send campaigns
Maintain close collaboration with contract marketing associates, print or broadcast media contacts, and Outreach & Information Committee
Collaborate with Application Assisters, Community Health Outreach Workers, and Medical teams to announce events, Provider promotion, or Health Center programs and services
Marketing Materials
Maintain accurate and up to date records and inventory of all promotional materials
Maintain accurate and up to date list serve of promotional material providers used by CCHC
Create, or provide editorial feedback on marketing content including, but not limited to: brochures, rack cards, flyers, posters, banners, signs, promotional materials (swag)
PowerPoint and EHR Campaign Coordination
Update and maintain the lobby power point for both Employee's Pictures as well as Patient Information send Electronic Health Record (EHR) campaigns
Coordinate campaigns with Patient Information PowerPoint
Event Planning and Coordination
Planning and Coordinating Annual Fundraising Events ie: Coastal Health Ride For Life

QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES):
Work Experience:
Work experience in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design
Strong computer skills and experience operating electronic health records, Office Suite, and a variety of web browsers
Experience in website development, social media campaign development or creation
Event Planning
Education, Training, Certification and Licensure:
Associates degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, and or graphic design preferred
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Understanding and knowledge of Southern Coos and Northern Curry Counties' culture and communities
Knowledge of health industry marketing norms and industry standards for public relation
Understanding of MLA writing standards, and familiarity with grammar and syntax aides
Strong written, as well as verbal, communication skills
Exercise excellent time management and independent working or decision making
Ability to coordinate with teams, be flexible and collaborate
Exercise conflict resolution, identify problems, and recommend solutions; remain calm in urgent situations and work well under pressure
