Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Department: Accounts Payable

Reports To: Accounts Payable Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

SUMMARY

This position will provide advanced support to the accounting department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Vendor & client research 
2. Research & verify invoices & statements
3. Manage invoice queue for numerous properties using AvidXchange 
4. Accurately process invoices and payments utilizing multiple accounting systems including Yardi Systems, Sage Intacct, ResMan
5. Process check runs when scheduled or requested
6. Assist with special projects (1099’s, W-9’s etc)
7. Obtain, update, and maintain vendor W-9’s
8. Process check requests, urgent pays, utility reimbursements, petty cash, mileage

QUALIFICATIONS

10 Key - by touch

Typing – 45 wpm

Previous experience in an office environment

Previous clerical/administrative experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with AvidXchange, Yardi Systems, Sage Intacct, ResMan

Experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams

Previous experience with Property Management
