The IDEMIA Software Engineering team is in need of a Software Engineer focused on the full-lifecycle development of software applications that help us build, improve and validate our highly scalable cloud-based applications are safe, secure and are performing at levels that meet or exceed requirements.

Required Skills

• Programming languages:
  • Java, Python
  • REST / SOAP, RDBMS, SQL
• Strong code optimization and refactoring
• Works well in a cross-functional team
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Pluses:
  • Experience building micro-services
  • Containerization (e.g., Docker, etc.)
  • Spring Boot
  • Continuous Integration/Delivery tools and concepts (e.g. TeamCity, Jenkins, Bamboo)
  • Performance testing tools (e.g. Apache JMeter, etc.)
  • GIT, Bitbucket
  • Scrum, or other agile methodology
  • Experience with Integration platforms such as Spring Integration, Apache Camel
  • Linux Development

Required Experience

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Knowledge and experience designing and developing Java applications that take into account scalability, reliability, extensibility, etc.
• Knowledge and experience designing and developing automated testing applications
