    THE ROLE

    An opportunity exists for an experienced Service Technician to join our Equipment team, based from our Service Centre at Braeside, Victoria. Reporting to the Service Manager, Equipment, this role will be responsible for the mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment within a nominated region in support of a wider national network.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Your duties in the role include:

    • Coordinating and performing various mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment
    • Establishing professional working relationships with customers
    • Establishing and maintaining relevant service-related information
    • Providing product service training to clients as required
    • Establishing and maintaining a customer base to ensure the continued financial growth of the Service Centre

     

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    The successful, relevantly qualified applicant will have excellent self-organisational and customer service skills combined with experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including; hydraulic and electrical systems and diesel and petrol engines. Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work autonomously are essential for this position, as this role will require work to be performed at both customer locations and within the workshop. Computerised controller diagnostic skills and proven experience in a similar industry or environment will be highly regarded.
