    The Instructor Ramp and Passenger Services provides safety, security and procedural training for airport customer service agents with regard to passenger ground handling and customer service.  This would include both initial and recurrent training requirements. Monitors training records.  Instructs personnel on new procedures, WFS and government safety and security policies, regulations, and directives, and conducts audits.

    Update local training manuals and SOP's as required.  Responsibilities for this position may also include computer data entry; preparation or oversight of flight documents; interfaces with Transportation Safety Administration, Federal Aviation Administration, local airport authority, and U.S. Customs & Border Patrol

     U.S. Customs; monitoring of flight and passenger documentation and compliance of passenger processing procedures with applicable air carrier and Department of Transportation regulations. Successful candidate will be based at their station, however primary job function will to be to support training efforts. Reports corporate training.

    Required Skills

    Ability to speak clearly and be understood. Work with little or no supervision.

    Must be able to perform the following functions in variable weather and environmental conditions:

    Push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, turn, reach, crawl, or grip as necessary to demonstrate job functions and operate required equipment.

    Work in restricted spaces as necessary to demonstrate job functions. Ability to lift 35 lbs.

    Work in a high noise level environment.

    Ability to work with all levels of management in communicating issues and making presentations.

    Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.

    Required Experience

    Must be knowledgeable in all Federal Air Regulations pertaining to passenger ground handling operations and all Worldwide Flight Services procedures. Must possess leadership qualities.  Requires strong oral and written communications skills, excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. Some travel required.  Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language. Current working knowledge of computer system.  Current airport customer service operational working experience preferred. Comply with WFS security program. Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance to managers or via the WFS reporting program
