SENIOR RESEARCHER
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Senior Researcher demonstrates mastery of UX research skills and manages projects from initial client objectives, to identifying an approach, to project execution, analysis, delivery, and presentation to the client. They perform these activities with autonomy, skill, and competency for communication with clients. This position is responsible for a mix of research and design consulting projects and leads client interactions and engagements. The Senior UX Lead Researcher is also responsible for training Researchers and Lead Researchers to deliver client objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Researcher manages and owns core project activities. They are expected to lead all aspects of projects, including preparation, data collection, analysis, and report/deliverable creation. The Senior Lead Researcher plays an active role in training and mentoring their Researcher & Lead Researcher colleagues on project work and through other team engagements—frequently serving as a formal mentor to more junior Researchers. They demonstrate efficiency in complex UX activities and use non-project related time to produce original thought leadership and activate/lead other internal initiatives. Senior Lead Researchers may specialize either in industry or methodology/technique and utilize their expertise to support the larger team. They play a leadership role in project work and internal team initiatives and consistently find ways to add value and innovation to the team.

Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.
Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to a variety of states for days or weeks, and daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift.
