    The Branch Clinical Supervisor at Coastal Home Care is the perfect job for an experienced registered nurse who is ready to have face-to-face interaction with individuals in their own homes but who no longer desires to practice skilled nursing tasks. Being a Registered Nurse in the hospital or nursing home has become a very demanding job for nurses at any stage in their careers. We serve older people and people with disabilities with primarily basic support like personal care and companionship services. Our supervisor’s role is to ensure that the caregiver knows what to do and how to do it and that the individual is receiving the care as ordered and expected. The job includes a high degree of flexibility and independence in scheduling one’s work week.

     

    THE SCOPE OF DUTIES:      

    The Branch Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supervising the personal care, companion and skilled nursing services provided by company’s direct care staff; coordinating clinical services, and ensuring quality of care. Duties include performing in-the-home assessments to determine support and clinical needs, conducting regularly scheduled supervisory visits of the clients, and documenting the visits as well as orienting and training caregivers as needed.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:  

    • Current State of Georgia R.N. license
    • Current CPR certification and TB screening
    • Minimum 1-year RN experience and ability to function independently in a home setting.
    • Satisfactory written and verbal communication skills.      
    • Free from health problems that may harm the well-being of the client or employee.
    • Emotional and mental maturity for the establishment and maintenance of good working relationships with client, client’s family, caregiver and administrative staff.
    • Must have reliable transportation and willingness to drive to outlying areas.
    • Adequate computer skills to be able to document electronically on a tablet
