POSITION SUMMARY

This position will support the maintenance department.  The duties will include purchasing support (facility and equipment repair), organization and ownership of maintenance inventory, project support of  Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and lean initiatives.  The position also includes some data collection & data entry, and creation and analysis of reports.  The duties will also support training and work instruction to improve skills within the department.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and maintain reporting dashboards
• Maintain the facilities/maintenance data collection processes, both manual and auto generated- providing daily, and periodic reports to staff
• Research, order spare parts per maintenance tech request.
• Automate/improve complicated or repetitive tasks
• Gather data from production programs, ERP, and other databases to support operations
• Support the budget and forecasting process by providing data as needed
• Works closely with departmental supervisors and managers to support day-to-day operations
• Support data gathering requirements for project and process improvement/automation efforts
• Facilitate process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities
• Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management and suggest problem resolution and business process improvements
• Support cycle counting and other inventory processes as needed
• Work with maintenance to update PM list in eMaint
• Review, update and follow up PM schedule in eMaint
• Up keep spare part inventory.
• Re-arrange and organize spare part inventory
• Create work instructions to train maintenance, production
• Document  all issues during implementation to create corrective action plan
• Transfer information from manufacturer’s machine manuals to the eMaint database
• Plan, schedule vendor for minor facility support i.e AC repair, Plumbing, electrician
• Support TPM activities

SKILLS:

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Outstanding communication skills
• Great organizational and multitasking abilities
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently at times
• Strong computer skill
• Knowledge of database like access, SQL, SAP is a plus
• Some physical lifting (up to 25 lb.) and moving of parts is required

EDUCATION:

• Associate’s Degree in a technical field, information systems, business, accounting, or similar area of studies
• 2+ years related professional experience
