Responsible for providing a clean, safe, hazard free environment for the safety and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff at Medical West's Food Services Department. The job duties are in accordance with Medical West, Joint Commission, federal, state, and local standards and guidelines.  The Food Service Housekeeper will spend most of the shift on their feet while providing heavy duty cleaning of work areas and equipment.   Individuals who exhibit a high level of motivation and extreme attention to detail will find success in this role.

Required Skills

Must be able to kneel, crawl, stoop, bend, push, and move equipment, and possess the manual dexterity to open containers and use cleaning tools. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.

Required Experience

High school diploma or G.E.D is required; Up to one year of experience preferred.
