PUBLIC AFFAIRS PROGRAMMATIC SUPPORT SERVICES.
- The contractor shall assist in the collection of news items, literary articles, pictures, and information of interest to beneficiaries from varied sources.
- The contractor shall compile, film, write, edit, voice, and air video stories and programs for daily broadcast, including producing monthly newsmagazine shows as well as other training videos and short video productions.
- The contractor shall screen, select, rewrite and transcribe completed video stories into print stories and illustrations for publication in various media, and shall operate closed-circuit TV and computer broadcasting system.
- The contractor shall occasionally serve as a tour guide and/or command liaison with tour groups and may be called upon to contact local radio and television stations, press clubs and radio and television stations, and other video and print production companies to inform them of unclassified matters of interest concerning U.S. Forces activities.
Required Skills
- The contractor personnel shall be proficient in the use of video camera equipment, computer and computer programming related to media digital video encoding, still photography, word processing, and desktop publishing.
- SECURITY REQUIREMENT: Must have obtained a favorably adjudicated T-3 determination at a minimum for this position.
- Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this position requires U.S. Citizenship status.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional and courteous manner in diversified situations.
- Must possess the ability to perform assigned work tasks without more than normal supervision.
