Supervise department operations (Logistics/Inventory/Warehouse – Shipping & Receiving) to provide on-time shipment scheduling & execution; includes use of customer data systems and providing shipment & inventory status to internal customers.
Execute logistics responsibilities, to include accurate execution of exports, domestic shipment coordination, and related document accountability.
Oversee an effective manpower & training utilization process.
Ensure accurate communication regarding timing & scheduling of in-bound and out-bound international shipments; Investigate and resolve discrepancies with international shipments/logistics as needed.
Execute cycle count program, including counts and documentation of results; Lead investigations of variances, including root cause analysis for serious/repetitive issues.
Ensure department support for on-time execution, reporting, and ROPE activities.
Use SAP system to execute shipment scheduling, material selection, and stock inquiries.
Ensure accurate document preparation, shipment labeling, and execution of shipments by warehouse team.
Facilitate communication with Planning, Quality, Production and Customer Service on material status for export orders; Expedite priority issues

Required Experience
5+ years work experience, preferably in an industrial warehouse environment
Experience with import/export activities, and domestic shipping required
Experience with inventory control and warehousing operations required
Experience with SAP or other ERP system required
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a relevant field is preferred
Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and numerical aptitude
Strong capabilities with Microsoft Office Platforms
Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
