JOB SUMMARY

MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-5PM

The primary duties of this position are to manage the assignments of technicians making certain that all products are repaired if necessary, tested and cleaned before final inspection.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organize and manage all orders assigned to your Team
• Evaluate warranty returns within 48 hours of receipt
• Communicate delays to appropriate department for customer contact
• Insure processing notes are up to date in systems
• Insure available assets are used for testing of product
• Witness testing and perform QC check of product to assure Customer Satisfaction
• Duties also include directing the completed workflow to Shipping.
• Keep all benches podiums and common areas clean at all times
• Proper use of MRS reporting systems is required
• Provide input on technician performance to Assistant Production Manager during both Monthly and Annual Review process

May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• One to Three years Technical School Diploma or experience.
• Technical or Industrial product knowledge a plus

Required Skills Required Experience

REQUIREMENTS:  Candidates must possess at least a Master’s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.  Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in designing and developing algorithms for RF sensor systems, 2 years developing EOIR sensor algorithms.  Additionally, the candidate will demonstrate at least 5 years of experience as a successful lead of a small multi-disciplinary team of engineers and / or scientists that utilized a systems engineering approach.  Candidates should also have general knowledge of the following areas:

• PLC management;
• Diverse multi-organizational team leadership;
• Algorithm development applicable to complex RF sensor systems;
• Analysis / modeling of Major Weapon Systems sensors utilizing C++, Matlab, or Python;
• Technical Readiness Level (TRL) Level 6 product development.
• System-of-systems design and integration utilizing DOORS, Git, or some other commercial third party management software;
• Familiarization with the Capability Maturity Model (CMM).

The ideal candidates will also possess a general understanding of the AEGIS or the MDA Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) fire control loop and / or the development and impacts of RF and IR signatures and debris to Navy and MDA defensive systems.

The candidate must be a US citizen and have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance.
