+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | IAP Worldwide Services, Inc. has an immediate opening for a position for | | a Systems Administrator Level II Position for recent long-term (5 Years) | | CAS-NTIRA-CENTRIX Contract Win. | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | +----------------------------------------------------------------------- | | ---+ | | | ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: | | | | | | | | | | | | - Shift work as needed in support of Shift NOC Operations | | | | | | - Will become Proficient supporting Dominos/Lotus System | | | | | | Administration within one year of employment. | | | | | | - Provide systems administrator functions to CAS Systems, to include | | | | | | cloud-based systems. | | | | | | - Maintain inventory control over all CAS material assets for the | | | | | | servers to include but not limited to license keys, server hardwar | | e, | | | | and other software installed on the production servers, test | | | | | | servers, and development servers. | | | | | | - Monitor server performance and system performance to optimize use | | of | | | | the existing hardware and virtual machines. | | | | | | - Configure system hardware and software to comply with current DoD, | | | | | | Navy, and local command policies. | | | | | | - Set and administer servers, server storage space allotments, | | | | | | resource reservations, and directory assistance. | | | | | | - Maintain user administration and access control of the servers, | | | | | | applications, and the virtual machines per NAVIFOR and Navy policy | | . | | | | - Manage and administer all e-mail messaging systems and their | | | | | | corresponding or associated software and hardware. | | | | | | - Administer servers running on all OS Platforms. | | | | | | - Add, remove, certify, and move new or existing end-user accounts a | | nd | | | | administer permissions and access rights. | | | | | | - Administer messaging systems access and support efforts for | | | | | | remote users. | | | | | | - Create private and public mailing databases, folders, and lists, | | | | | | calendaring services, address books, and shared mail applications. | | | | | | - Monitor and analyze e-mail system activities to ensure maximum | | | | | | performance, efficiency, and availability. | | | | | | - The contractor shall monitor and test e-mail server software | | | | | | performance and provide statistics and reports. | | | | | | - Analyze e-mail system or application usage and plan for growth or | | | | | | increases in network capacity. | | | | | | - Administer and maintain CAS databases, antivirus management, and | | | | | | error log tracking. | | | | | | - Identify and resolve problems affecting applications, messaging | | | | | | systems performance, efficiency, and availability in a | | | | | | timely manner. | | | | | | - Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements, upgrades, | | | | | | and/or purchases. Required Skills Required Experience
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or comparable education. • 5-8 years of experience in IT SAP basis area, including: Client Copy/Export/Import, System Copy/Refresh, Support Pack upgrades, Kernel Upgrades, Add-on installations, applying OSS Notes, Spool and printer administration, background jobs, Workload Analysis/Performance Tuning. • Experience manage RFC connections. • Experience maintaining OSS connections, generating developer keys and SAP portal users. • Ability to effectively manage daily administrative tasks including monitoring system logs, work processes, locks, updates and dumps. • Experience with Java/ABAP based systems. • Knowledge of SAP Security Administration. • Ability to conduct daily health checks on running SAP environment e.g. SAP Core, SAP-PI, SAP-TREX, SAP BW, SAP Solution Manager, SAP GRC for a stable and consistent system. • Experience supporting Change & Release Management. Able to create transports routes and run transports on a frequent basis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Certified basis administrator would be an advantage. • Experience working in global teams.
