    POSITION PROFILE

     

    The Project Manager for the Southern Division will oversee the coordination and communication of Knoll’s deliverables with both internal sales teams and external contacts, such as dealers, customers, etc. Working closely with the Director of Strategic Sales, this position is an ideal match for those skilled with strategic project management, organization, customer service and process improvements/implementation. The primary responsibilities of this role include:

     

    Pre-Sales Support working with Director of Strategic Sales

     

     

    • Prepare presentation materials, product documents, samples, client packages, graphics
    • Create customized and consistent Southern Division collateral
    • Respond to client requests for information, product images, materials, etc.
    • Participate in strategy meetings, conference calls and presentations
    • Facilitate mock ups, CPD communications, technical resources communications, etc.
    • Reduce administrative time by Directors to allow them more client interface and selling
    • Participate in RFI/RFP’s along with DirectorAccount

     

    Project Management Support on Accounts Won

     

     

    • Establish and implement processes and procedures to ensure consistent communication
    • Provide a central communication point for all internal and external team members
    • Manage centralized database of global projects, status, results, compliance, etc.
    • Assist Strategic Director with KPR’s
    • Assist with Salesforce Log activity, contacts, data in Salesforce.com
    • Track and monitor performance measurements globally, including dealer performance
    • Prepare and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with the client
    • Ensure compliance with global standards, pricing/discounts, terms/conditions, lead times
    • Provide operational/project support with factories: lead time commitments, CPD, textiles
    • Coordinate Field Services, warranty issues, dealer service requests, etc.
    • Manage mock ups and product for presentations
    • Act as a liaison between the global dealers and manufacturing facilities / logistics
    • Ensure accurate forecasting from local regions for factories
    • Track specifications, quotes, purchase orders and punch lists through status reports
    • Attend client meetings on project planning, execution, performance reviews, etc.
    • Participate in projects on site as needed with dealer and/or client
    • Act as an initial point of contact to the client for day to day questions, needs, issues, etc.

     

    Process and Strategic Problem Solving/ Identifying Selling Opportunities

     

    • Develop Project Timelines, Tracking Reports, RACI and Communication Plans
    • Identify new product opportunities and value engineering recommendations
    • Suggest strategies to address competitive situations
    • Solve problems, service and product issues, etc. independently
    • Interface with the client to propose strategic enhancements to the partnership

     

    Required Skills

    • Effective written and oral communication skills, required
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 2010 or higher, required
    • Previous Project Management (PM) Experience: Creating and implementing processes, Developing Project Timelines, Tracking Reports, RACI and Communication Plan
    • Experience in a global and/or furniture industry is highly preferred
    • Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and/or Illustrator is preferred
    • Proficiency with CET and CAP software is highly preferred
    • Microsoft Outlook 365 and Salesforce experience, preferred

    Required Experience

    High school diploma or equivalent required
