    Job Description

    If hired, this position will start in an office located in Grapevine Texas for training and monitoring with the emphasis that you will build your book of business and be able to transition to a remote location of your choice. This is also a Salaried / Draw position with up to 12 months guaranteed salary and the option to go full commission to earn an unlimited income.

    A fast-growing wholesale auto parts distributor is seeking a knowledgeable, energetic, and dedicated Sales Representative. The target market is automobile dealerships, primarily in the Japanese Market on a national scale.

    This role is perfect for a high-energy Sales Representative who can recognize opportunities and turn leads into long-lasting partnerships. The Sales Representative serves as both new business development specialist and a relationship owner for his developed group of customer accounts, with responsibility for retention and growth.     With strong product knowledge and an understanding of industry trends, the Sales Representative will communicate directly with customers and prospects, understand their individual needs, and recommend products or services that maximize value. Sales Representative may also assist in developing sales strategies. You should be an adaptable, knowledgeable multi-tasker with very strong listening and communication skills. The sales representative needs to be a go-getter who is self-motivated and has the desire to learn new techniques. We are seeking long term employees who want to grow with the company and want an opportunity to earn more than the average person.

    Excellent attention to detail, presentation and negotiating skills will also be needed to succeed in this role. Applicant should demonstrate expertise in gaining access and selling to the mid to senior level managers and decision makers to ensure a deep enough understanding of customers’ individual experience.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Attaining and exceeding their sales quota goals.
    • Making cold calls or reaching out to prospects.
    • Building and maintaining a consistently strong pipeline
    • Following up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met.
    • Presenting and demonstrating the value of our products and services to prospective buyers.
    • Staying current on company products and industry trends.
    • Maintaining a database of contact information.
    • Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience.
    • Providing support for clients by learning about and satisfying their needs.
    • Handling complaints and negotiations.
    • Identifying new and emerging markets for our products.
    • Provide a consultative sales approach to clients
    • Excellent sales, negotiation, and team building skills and techniques are required
    • Some travel may be required

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a full sales cycle, Lead Generation, Cold Calling, Closing, Follow Up, Maintaining and Growing Partnerships
    • After-market parts distribution selling in the Automotive sector (a strong PLUS, but not a requirement)
    • Minimum of 3 years’ successful experience as a direct contributor carrying an individual quota (a strong PLUS, but not a requirement)
    • Experience in managing multiple individual accounts with a combined annual revenue over $300K+ (a strong PLUS, but not a requirement)
    • Experience managing and directing the entire sales cycle from beginning to close
    • Candidate will be strategic in finding new business using technical knowledge and skillset as well as social media connections, marketing, and using other online resources.
    • Good management presence, communication skills, and credibility
    • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets
    • Attentive to reporting responsibilities
    • Comprehensive and current knowledge of industry offerings and trends.
    • The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong time management skills.
    • Computer skills, especially MS Office and CRM software.
