    Job Description

    CCT, is recruiting for an energetic, confident, and experienced individual to join our growing team. We are searching for someone who has a passion for excellence and a proven ability to inspire that passion in others.

    Working directly with the Controller, the Junior Staff Accountant will be heavily involved in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, the month-end close process, balance sheet/P&L reconciliations and other projects to support the growth of the company.

    • Process AP transactions
    • Matching packing slips to PO’s and Invoices
    • Entering AP Invoices into accounting system
    • Process AP checks and bank ACH’s on a weekly and/or as needed basis
    • Process AR transactions
    • Audit daily shipment and order paperwork for accuracy
    • Print and mail/email customer invoices
    • Collate sales order paperwork
    • Maintains contact with Customers in order to address and resolve payment issues
    • Pull daily on-line bank information
    • Process Cash application of Customers payments
    • Monitor AR aging including some collection responsibilities
    • Maintain financial spreadsheets
    • Assist with monthly closing
    • Perform month end analysis
    • Prepare and enter Journal entries
    • Participate in monthly physical inventories
    • Responding to customer and sales team email and telephone inquiries and requests
    • Maintain and update customer and vendor data and records in computer system
    • Support payroll processing
    • Assist in the preparation of year end audit and tax work papers
    • Demonstrate respect for the Company’s values daily, maintain and uphold all policies & procedures
    • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent combination of training and experience
    • 1-3 relevant Experience in a corporate accounting and/or accounting assistant experience
    • Strong working knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable
    • Experience with P&L analysis and understanding of accounting basics
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office,  G Suite for business, ERP systems
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships
    • Possess the highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic, multitasking environment
    • Proficiency in Word and Excel Required
    • Must be highly motivated and have excellent written and communication skills
    • Must be able to maintain confidential information
    • Capacity to work with limited supervision, independently and as a team member
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
