We help our clients bring their ideas to life through our Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Prototyping and Production Services. We work with our US and international partners to meet all of our client’s product development needs.

Summary

Cobalt Product Solutions is seeking a Purchasing Admin to provide support in purchasing as well as across all departments. This role requires an immense amount of attention to detail, adaptability, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Enter, get approval, and submit purchase orders to vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
• Plan and coordinate purchase orders for production to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory needed.
• Request quotes from suppliers to ensure most up to date pricing prior to placing a purchase order
• Review inventory quantities with production manager to ensure necessary inventory is on hand for each project.
• Maintain contact with suppliers and freight forwarders on delivery schedules and communicate to the team any delays.
• Create production schedule with production manager and update as needed.
• Assist departments with administrative tasks such as filling, data entry, presentation preparation, and transcribing notes
• Track and order office supplies
• Coordinate facility maintenance requests
• Assist with miscellaneous projects as needed
• Light Housekeeping

Requirements and Skills

• Proven work experience as an Admin and/or Purchasing Admin
• Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge
• Strong organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills – a good listener, optimistic and tactful
• Exceptional multi-tasking ability
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines

· Global Shop Solutions or equivalent ERP experience a plus
