Top Skills:
• Thorough understanding of Cobol mainframe development practices (10 + years)
• In depth understanding of Structured Query Language (10+ years)
• Strong customer service and relationship management experience
• Interviews will be set up shortly after the posting close date.
• MUST provide three (3) business references for the interview. (One reference must be a supervisory level.)

• Candidate must be available to perform all work during the Central Standard Time (CST) business hours 9:00 am – 3 pm (or CST hours as defined by the hiring manager)

Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. Local candidates preferred. This position is currently remote. However, position status is subject to change. (90% remote 10% onsite as needed) Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required.
Project details: This Cobol Mainframe Programmer 6 (CMP6) will work on high profile mainframe application projects within the Child Care Child Welfare (CCCW) section, maintain online and batch application programs by reviewing, analyzing, coding, testing, and debugging application code. They will develop specifications, diagrams, flowcharts and documentation. The CMP6 will analyze and develop programs using COBOL, DB2, XML, and JCL for the new enhancements. The CMP6 will implement application changes, enhancements and new applications and provide post implementation support. Knowledge on .NET, C#, SQL Server are nice-to-have skills.
