    Senior Curriculum Developer at Code Ninjas

    Code Ninjas is the largest fastest growing coding franchise. As a Senior Curriculum Developer at Code Ninjas, you work on creating content that is both fun and educational. You’ll be a key addition to our Education team and help us create the world’s best computer science education experience. You'll work on Code Ninjas’ curriculum that allows kids to learn in a self-paced environment, guided by Code Senseis. The activities introduce children (ages 5-14) to coding in various formats.

    Location: Houston preferred, Remote possible depending on candidate

    Salary: $70,000+ depending on experience

    Responsibilities

    Work with Code Ninjas curriculum team members and other contracted curriculum developers to collaborate and create world-class coding curriculum.

    Use expertise to help plan and direct education programs.

    Submit deliverables in a timely manner.

    Mentor junior curriculum developers.

    Actively look for ways to improve effectiveness of content.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or similar field.

    5years of experience teaching and/or developing curriculum for middle school aged children in computer science.

    Experience in instructional methodologies and educational tools.

    Experience teaching and/or developing curriculum for JavaScript.

    Demonstrated passion for teaching all kids how to code.

    Ability to collaborate with a team and manage a single large project with multiple dependencies.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Master’s degree in Education, Computer Science or similar field.

    7years of experience teaching and/or developing curriculum for middle school aged children in computer science.

    Experience working with after school programs.

    Demonstrated writing, organizational and communication skills.

    Experience creating computer science curriculum from the ground up.

    Experience creating instructional videos.

    Strong understanding of Computer Science standards and concepts for kids ages 5-14.
