Director of Training

Are you an experienced Director of Training looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to join the largest, fastest growing coding franchise in the nation? Code Ninjas Home Office is looking for a Director of Training to join our dynamic and energetic team based in Pearland, TX. The Director of Training will lead and manage all training and development initiatives for our corporate staff and franchisees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for evaluating and enhancing competencies of our employees and franchisees

Ability to conduct a training/learning needs assessment and identify training objectives

Develop, implement and conduct training programs and learning experiences that are interesting and valuable to our employees and franchisees

Research, plan and deliver training programs to prepare franchisees for pre-openings

Design and build a quarterly and annual employee development strategy

Ability to learn custom-built franchise technologies and present training requirements for franchisee proficiency

Prepare budget for training programs and workshops

Manage the production of program marketing material in collaboration with marketing team

Communicate all the training programs on a timely basis

Create a program announcement marketing strategy

Prepare and deliver training courses

Implement training and development KPIs

Prepare and present reports on training program KPIs

Experience Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Education, Training, HR or related field

7+ years of experience as a Training Manager, Training Development Specialist, or similar role

7+ years of experience designing training programs and workshops

5+ years of experience with learning management software

Knowledge of various learning styles, teaching strategies and instructional design methods

Solid knowledge of talent management and succession planning methods

Excellent decision-making and organizational skills

Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success

Outstanding managerial skills

Great team leader

Good time-management skills

Great interpersonal and communication skills

Proficiency in MS Office and database software
