We are seeking a Staff Accountant to be responsible for maintaining financial records, confirming compliance with IRS rules, reconciling bank statements and balancing the ledger for regular reports.Duties and responsibilities

· Prepares journal entries, enters accounting data into the system, and performs account reconciliations to ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of financial data

· Prepares a variety of complex financial, accounting, or cost reports, research records and other data, and performs analysis or reconciliations as required to produce accurate, complete, and timely accounting reports

· Responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of a company’s reports and statements

· Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance

· Prepare and file tax returns

· Enter accounting related information into business logs

· Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue

· Perform monthly bank settlements

· Prepare documentation for external auditors

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar field required

· At least three years’ experience in accounting or auditing

· Strong mathematical and analytical skills

· Strong excel experience

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Ability to read and analyze financial reports

· Ability to manage, organize, prioritize, multi-task and adapt to changing priorities

· Have strong attention to detail, take initiative and have a professional and service minded approach

· Experience with Quickbooks

· Knowledge of US GAAP
