    Are you an experienced VP of Operations looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to join the largest, fastest growing coding franchise in the nation? We have over 270 centers nationwide and globally. We are continuing to grow and looking for a VP of Franchise Operations to join our dynamic team to oversee the daily operations of our organization.

    Responsible for executing franchising strategy to drive Code Ninja’s franchise unit growth and performance within the United States, Canada, and the UK, with future international expansion on the horizon. This position will be instrumental in developing the franchise operations, systems and processes, recruiting and supporting franchisee partners, developing and executing operations plans to drive enrollment and revenue at the center level, building and maintaining close relationships with our new and existing Code Ninja’s franchisees.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Assist the CEO in the execution of short term and long-range plans and budgets for the concept based on corporate goals and strategic objectives.

    Develop and implement procedures and tools to promote communication and adequate information flow between the home office and its franchisees. Consistent communications to the franchise owners on system updates, upcoming events and other relevant information is required.

    Establish operating policies consistent with broad policies and objectives of the home office and ensure their execution.

    Regularly and systematically evaluate the results of overall operations using an established set of KPIs.

    Hire, develop, oversee and manage a staff of Franchise Business Coaches under a culture of accountability so they understand and execute their responsibilities correctly.

    Work with the Franchise Business Coaches in monitoring the franchisees' financial performance and health on a regular basis, ensuring franchisee compliance with annual budget and P&L submission. This includes helping them to develop financial budgets and operating plans on an annual basis.

    Assist the Franchise Business Coaches in working with and supporting the franchisees as necessary.

    Manage home office support specialist team as they provide day-to-day support on all aspects of running the franchised business

    Work with counsel to maintain disclosure documents and related registrations

    Develop and document franchise real estate and construction opportunities post-agreement execution to center opening

    Execute operational strategies, develop relationships with franchisees and execute development and franchise agreements to meet company goals

    Execute successful Soft and Grand Openings with new franchisees

    Experience Qualifications:

    Required Minimum: 8-10 years’ experience directly supervising or support/monitoring a region of franchised units. Franchise multi-unit supervisory experience

    Thorough knowledge and understanding of multi-unit center operations, franchising and company policies/procedures

    Dynamic presentation skills and abilities. The ability to present to a large room of operators

    in a highly effective manner

    A sustained and demonstrated passion for working with franchisees, who comprise the core success opportunity in our business

    Excellent PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) as well as

    Zoom and other key video conferencing software technologies

    Advanced Financial analysis abilities, including auditing financial statements, banking

    documents and dissecting an overall general ledger

    Preferred:

    8-10 years management experience with 5 years in a multi-unit management level or above.

    Having developed systems and processes for new franchise system

    Required Knowledge, Skills or Abilities:

    Must be willing to travel 60%.

    Competence with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point

    Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

    Strong time management and organizational skills

    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    Able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment

    Must conduct himself/herself in a professional, respectful, and appropriate manner

    Sound business judgement and decision-making skills

    Effective Business Planning skills
