Code Ninjas is the largest fastest growing coding franchise. As a Senior Curriculum Developer at Code Ninjas, you work on creating content that is both fun and educational. You’ll be a key addition to our Education team and help us create the world’s best computer science education experience. You'll work on Code Ninjas’ curriculum that allows kids to learn in a self-paced environment, guided by Code Senseis. The activities introduce children (ages 5-14) to coding in various formats.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or similar field.

5 years of experience teaching and/or developing curriculum for middle school aged children in computer science.

Experience in instructional design and methodologies, curriculum development, and Learning Management Systems.

Experience teaching and/or developing curriculum for JavaScript.

Demonstrated passion for teaching all kids how to code.

Strong understanding of computer science standards and concepts for kids ages 5-14.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or similar field.

7 years of experience teaching and/or developing curriculum for middle school aged children in computer science.

Experience working with after school programs.

Demonstrated writing, organizational, and communication skills.

Experience creating computer science curriculum from the ground up.

Experience creating instructional videos.

Responsibilities

Work with Code Ninjas education team members to collaborate on creating world-class coding curriculum.

Review and edit content as part of the quality assurance process.

Use expertise to help plan and direct education programs.

Submit deliverables in a timely manner.

Mentor junior curriculum developers.

Actively look for ways to improve effectiveness of content.

Location: Houston preferred, Remote possible depending on candidate Medical, vision, dental401k with matchUnlimited PTOSalary: $75,000+ depending on experience
