Vice President of Marketing

Code Ninjas, the largest and fastest-growing coding franchise in the nation, is seeking a VP of Marketing to develop and execute the global marketing strategy for our franchise.
This position is responsible for leading our Marketing department, overseeing the company’s overall branding and image, as well as designing, implementing and monitoring effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals. The VP of Marketing will also develop operational level strategic plans and manage all components of marketing functions, including direct marketing, advertising, employee development, promotions and events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee and supervise all aspects of marketing operations, direct marketing, promotions, sales, and advertising to grow the Code Ninjas’ brand
• Establish policies and procedures, organizational structure, sales strategies, action plans and goals to support the Marketing department
• Meet established objectives by working with management and staff to plan short-term and long- term goals
• Ability to identify marketing shortcomings and implement solutions
• Research, analyze and monitor industry trends, competitive set, financial, technological and
demographic factors to capitalize on marketing opportunities and stay competitive
• Create and implement strategies and programs to cultivate the market for new
and existing franchisees
• Develop, execute, and revise policies and procedures to achieve profit and volume
objectives
• Determine annual budgets and maintain control on financials, including labor costs to
maximize efficiency and effectiveness of operations
• Collaborate and align divisional strategies with franchise-wide marketing strategies
• Maintain reports to analyze marketing campaigns/events, evaluate their effectiveness and determine future business strategies
• Track all expenses and review marketing P&Ls
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, labor organizations, related media partners and
property departments
• Work with the management team and other departments to develop and implement marketing campaigns and events
• Provide quality service to internal franchisees and external customers
• Identify opportunities promotions for marketing and sales
Experience Qualifications:
· Solid Marketing background and work experience managing a variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing techniques
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field
· 10+ years of progressive marketing experience
· 7+ years of direct management experience with demonstrated success leading and motivating teams, as well as managing cross-functional teams
· Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
· Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google AdWords
· Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
· Strong leadership skills
· Excellent communications skills
· Strong analytical and project management skills
· Strategic mindset with ability to make difficult decisions
