Code Ninjas is looking for a Director of Technology to join our growing company. This role is a key part of growing the many facets of our business. Director will be responsible for providing strategic technology leadership and executive oversight to all aspects of Technology Department.

As a Director of Technology, you will :

Develop and implement technology roadmap and works with software developers to successfully create and support new software platforms.

Allocate team resources to successfully deliver DevOps and IT enhancements and maintain maximum uptime on new and existing platforms.

Work with leadership team to ensure all applications meet project specifications and requirements.

Duties and responsibilities

Directs the activities of a software systems development function, software applications development function, and/or a software quality assurance function.

· Hands-on, technically savvy leader, who has an equal amount of hands-on technical experience, business acumen and people management skills.

· Completing ad hoc projects in support of the Code Ninja’s Leadership teams.

· Creating a technology roadmap based on the overall strategy of the Code Ninjas Leadership team

· Maintain strong grasp of industry trends, cutting edge technology and marketplace changes to ensure that Code Ninja’s remains in a leading position with regard to its competitors.

· Work collaboratively with global and regional teams to execute both internal and external software development projects.

· Drive product development by enabling creative use of existing technology platforms and by encouraging new technologies where appropriate.

· Continuous communication with growing base of Code Ninjas Franchisees

Qualifications

· Have excellent leadership and motivational skills, with experience working in a competitive environment where intellectual rigor is the norm.

· Bachelor of Science degree preferred, but not required.

· Five plus years of experience in managing fast paced, high energy development teams.

· Have 7-plus years of applicable experience in developing high performance enterprise applications with a demonstrated track record of delivering releases on time with excellent quality.

· Budget management and staffing administration experience.
