Who are we?

Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest-growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 5-14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way – by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast and can’t wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving, as they progress from white to black belt. Our core promise is, Kids have fun, parents see results. We believe in these words so much that it’s written on the walls in our center.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an Event Coordinator to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. This individual oversees special events such as camps, birthday parties, group events and student engagement. Are you experienced in working with children? Have you run youth events or camps? This could be the role for you.

Responsibilities include:

Understand requirements for each event

Plan event with attention to detail with focus on fun

Manage all event operations (preparing venue, social media etc.)

Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards

Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems

Evaluate event’s success and submit reports

Qualifications:

Proven experience as event coordinator

A proven track record of organizing successful events

Ability to learn and effectively communicate business model

Proficient in MS Office

Excellent management and organizational skills

Knowledge of basic practices

Outstanding communication and Customer Service

Well-organized with multi-tasking skills

Able to handle stress and remain calm

Problem-solving ability

Ability to collaborate and work closely with Center Director
